Turkmall opens its 22nd shopping centre in Tokat

Invested EUR 2 billion in Anatolia out of a total EUR 5 billion in 21 years, Turkmall opens its 22nd shopping centre in Tokat. The EUR 60 million-project is already in the construction stage.

Having been constructed 5 million m2 retail space since 1992, Turkmall has started to develop a new shopping centre in Tokat. Developed 2.5 million m2 of GLA out of a total 8.1 million m2 across Turkey, the company increases its number of shopping centres to 22 with Novada Tokat Shopping Centre in Tokat.

Located on a 17,750 m2 of land with a GLA of approximately 25,000 m2, Novada Tokat comprises of a hypermarket, retail spaces including local and international brands, the biggest cinema of the city, a leasure area, and restraurant and cafes. The centre is scheduled to open its doors in the first half of 2014 and it will provide employment opportunities to 1,500 people.

Noting the company has already invested EUR 5 billion thanks to more than 30 business partnerships in 10 countries, Levent Eyüboğlu, Chairman of Turkmall Real Estate, said: “Anatolian cities have a significant place among our investment locations.
