Redefining the concepts of shopping and entertainment for Izmir, Novada Outlet Balçova will open its doors for visitors by the end of this year.
Turkmall, which have constructed 5 million m2 retail space since 1992, has opened a new “Novada” shopping centre, adding a new link to the brand.
Opened in 2006 in Izmir, Selway Outlet Park is now in a renovation process initiated by Turkmall and T.J. Investment Consultancy, one of the biggest investors in Izmir. The project, which has been named Novada Outlet Balçova, is due to be completed in the last quarter of 2013. According to the renovation strategy, Novada Outlet Balçova is expanded with additional buildings across the highway, increasing the GLA of 8,000 m2 to 35,000 m2. Located on a 250,000 m2 of land, the centre will be expanded more if required.
Number of stores will reach to 140
Novada Outlet Balçova will offer various well-known brands to its visitors by increasing the number of stores from 32 to 140, including a supermarket, an electronics market, and both local and international brands of the retail industry. Almost 2,000 m2of space will be designated for the food-court. Blocks on either sides of the highway will be connected with custom-design bridges.
Novada Outlet Balçova will redefine the concepts of shopping and entertainment with its food-court with sea view, a 5,000-seat amphitheatre, a business hotel, the “Adventure Rock” amusement park to be located on 15,000 m2 of land. The shopping centre will also feature a parking space for 1,000 vehicles.
With its location on Izmir-Çeşme highway that moves 5 million vehicles a year, the shopping centre is 3 minutes away from Izmir’s new fairground, 8 km from Adnan Menderes Airport, 30 minutes from Çeşme, and 6 km from Izmir city centre.
